Page: 2 HAL3 Update No configuration files are being delivered for 1E, therefore Columbus module Limit checking must enabled by PLMDM bundle. Enable limit checking for Caution and Warning : FSL, BIOLAB and EDR. Changes Autonomous H+S Processing for ANITA Payload. Increase efficiency to AP_HAL3_ER4 for ANITA daily commanding

Page: 3 Installation on the PLMDM Files are uplinked to the PLMDM (Primary and Backup), effectively overwriting current file contents presently on-board File names - AP_HAL3_ER4 and AP_HAL3_PLMDM. PRO will HALT and REMOVE from the Timeliner executor the AP_HAL3_PLMDM bundle and the AP_HAL3_ER4 bundle.

Page: 4 Installation on the PLMDM PRO will Install the AP_HAL3_PLMDM Bundle which will become active automatically and continue with nominal operations No further file maintenance is required as uplink/overwrite does this for us.

Back up Charts

Page: 7 HAL History HAL-1 was first installed on the PLMDM, April 18, HAL-1 was the 1st continuously executing set of sequences on ISS. HAL-1 included the following functionality:  A monitoring procedure that automatically installed and removed payload RT bundles based upon power status.  A monitoring procedure that automatically issued H&S startup/shutdown notification commanding for the MSG Rack and messaged for all other payloads (Proof of Concept).  A Ku monitoring procedure that messaged to the ground when Ku AOS and LOS were detected.

Page: 8 HAL 2 Capabilities HAL-2 was first executed on the PLMDM 9/30/2005. One command PLMDM transition recovery Automatic installation and removal of Timeliner procedures based on power status of RTs Automatic H&S startup/shutdown notification for all racks and payloads. Automatic limit check enablement for all racks and payloads. Automatic bundle management  Configuration control of Bundle Management Autonomy  Decrease workload of POIC CPO Ku Band AOS/LOS flag is written to memory and available for use by other bundles (MSRR is the first RT with this requirement) Shared memory for inter-bundle communication 1 Hz Telemetry status via Ku of the complete HAL system Direct text messaging to the ground operator (CPO) Direct Man-In-The-Loop interface (HAL Configuration Requests)
