Les Adverbes en Anglais Adverbs are words that modify: Verbs: e.g. He drove slowly. Adjectives: e.g. He drove a very fast car. Other Adverbs: e.g. She moved quite slowly down the aisle.

La Formation des Adverbes En Anglais: Many English adverbs are generally recognized by their “-ly” ending. The equivalent French ending is - ment. E.g.
