Plan for Workshop Two groups: - predominantly undergraduate interest - predominantly postgraduate interest Areas which will be covered: 4 stages of career planning 4 tiers of careers provision Timing of careers intervention Planning for the future

Task 1 (5 minutes) Working in pairs: Discuss an episode in one of your lives when you have had to make a career decision (preferably a positive one!). What was it about it that made it good? Provide one example for feedback

Task 2 (10 minutes) Working in fours: In your role(s) how do you assist under/postgraduate students/trainees with career planning? What resources (human/material) are available to you to assist you in this process? Provide one or two examples for feedback
