Toy Library Terms and Conditions Due to changes within the organisation, the toy library opening times for collection/return have been restricted to: Collection and return times (Unit 1, Armstrong Way, Yate BS37 5NG) 9:30am – 4:30pm Mondays and 9:30am – 4:30pm Thursdays only Tel : for all booking enquiries Children’s Playlink membership is open to anyone providing play opportunities for children in South Gloucestershire. Current members include pre-schools, out of school clubs, holiday clubs, school PTAs, childminders, libraries, children’s centres and more. Each new application for membership will be approved by our Management Committee before acceptance to ensure our criteria are met. All “group” membership forms (including the bouncy castle form) must be signed by the Chair / Manager who will take overall responsibility for adhering to the terms and conditions. Toy Library bookings can be made for any time up to the end of the membership year. During peak times early booking is recommended. All items must be booked in advance by telephone and be collected / returned on the specified dates within the times stated above. A late return penalty of £5.00 per day will be charged where there has been no prior agreement or notice. This is to avoid disappointment to others who may have their booking compromised as a result. Please also cancel any bookings not required at all in good time to allow others use of the toys/equipment. Two items can be borrowed at any one time for up to two weeks; however, during quieter periods this can be increased by prior agreement with Children’s Playlink – please feel free to ask. Adult supervision is required for all items borrowed. Members must ensure that toys/equipment are stored securely and dry when not in use. Please return toys/equipment in a dry, clean and tidy condition, the way you would like to receive it. Failure to do so will result in a fine. Please ensure enough people are sent to collect / return heavy items such as bouncy castles. Children’s Playlink staff are not permitted to help with this. Toys/equipment are only to be used by members on member’s premises and under no circumstances is to be used by third parties or private individuals for personal use. Breakages and loss of items must be reported to Children’s Playlink. Charges will apply for replacement of items (except normal wear & tear). BOUNCY CASTLES are only available to groups, not individual members. Groups must have their own public liability insurance and accept responsibility for it (Children’s Playlink does not provide this). Please read the separate guidelines carefully before signing the form and returning it to us. Bouncy castle bookings will not be accepted until we have the signed guidelines. Please ensure enough people are sent to collect / return bouncy castles. Children’s Playlink staff are not permitted to help with this. A deposit of £25.00 will be required for all Bouncy Castles, payable upon collection. This will only be refunded if the castle and its accessories are in a satisfactory condition. Castles must be dry, under no circumstances are castles to be used or stored in the wet, and must be tightly folded upon return to fit back on the dilly. The deposit will be retained if our staff need to repack the castle. Children’s Playlink reserve the right to cancel any membership with immediate effect following misuse or improper use of toys/equipment. PLEASE KEEP A PHOTOCOPY FOR YOUR OWN RECORDS
