Types of Units  Ambulances  Rescues  Engines  Police  National Guard offered by Gov. Lynch  Special requests- i.e.. Pontoon boats as ferries for personnel and tools  Fire Marshals Office  Division of Forest and Lands- Saw Crew

Timeline of events  Initial calls for help came in at 11:50am  All Incidents were under control at 21:30 PM  Over 40 Calls during the next week for related incidents  Heart Attack  Explosion with burns from propane tank

Timeline Continued  2 motorcycle accidents both fatal due to traffic issues along highway  Swift water rescue of kayaker caught up in debris in river

The aftermath  After the tornado and the calls  The decision was made to keep Fire Department personnel ready for emergencies and not to get involved with the extended clean up

Point Of Distribution  Getting everyone together to plan, review and edit the POD plan  Bringing all POD towns together to assign responsibilities and duties before incident  First responders and area professionals have been able to work towards goals i.e. Shelter  Groups can work together on local issues as they have a current working group  Over the past 6 months we have been meeting and planning to solidify the ICS process within the POD structure

POD Continued  Updating the MOU and addressing agreements and responsibilities and realistic plans on what each community can offer.
