The Excretory System Quay Shawn, Roy, Vanity, Wilfredo, Christina 708

What are the major organs of the excretory system ? The major organs of the excretory system is the kidney, liver, vena cava, aorta, renal artery, renal vein, ureter, urinary bladder, and urethra.

What are the major organs jobs? The jobs of the major organs is to remove waste. The parts that remove waste is the kidney, liver, skin, bladder, urethra.

What are the major functions of the excretory system? The body parts have different functions. The kidney job is responsible to remove nitrogen from blood. The liver’s job is to remove toxins from blood. Skin releases sweat helps to maintain an appropriate balance of salt in the body, the bladder holds urine to be secreted by the body after the substance leaves the kidneys, the urethra is responsible for actually passing the urine outside of the body.

What are the major functions of the excretory system? (continued) The excretory system helps to maintain each cells homeostasis, which is an equal balance within the cell. It is important because cells that do not maintain a proper equilibrium cause a variety of disease and infection in an organism.

How is the excretory system important to survival ? The Excretory system is important to survival because foods like fruits, vegetables, and lean meats can give a healthy excretory system.

How is the Excretory system important to survival? (continued) Another way the excretory system is important to survival is that parts of the body are responsible for removing waste out of the human body.

Diseases and Disorders of the excretory system? In the excretory system you can get diseases or disorders called nephritis and gout.

Diseases and Disorders of the excretory system (continued) The gout, nephritis, urinary tract infection, bladder infection, and kidney stones are all of the diseases and disorders of the excretory system. To maintain a healthy excretory system people must drink water.

Vocabulary Disorders Nephritis Gout Urinary Tract Infection Vena Cava
