Science Olympiad For both science and Chemistry Olympiad, we will be meeting on Wednesdays during homeroom starting next week. ( Dr. Glenn’s room for chemistry Olympiad participants and Mrs. HD’s room for science Olympiad participants) It is really important that you plan to attend the practice sessions so we can place in the competition.

* There will be a beach cleanup November 14 th at Hollywood beach from 7-12 am. * Gloves, trashbags, etc are all provided. Don’t forget to bring water bottles, sunscreen, and some snacks ! * At N Broadwalk, Hollywood, FL * Sign up before you go to clean the beach!. You get 5 club hours.

 From November 30 th - December 4 th, we will be having a in school competition. The class that collects the most caps ( water bottle, gatorade, etc), will win a doughnut party.  The purpose of collecting the caps is to submit them to Caps of Love, which is an organization that collects these caps to provide wheelchairs for disabled children ( environmental and humanitarian charity )  If you are interested in planning this event, please sign up for a committee to meet next week !

 Committee meetings will be on Tuesdays during homeroom starting January ( See Valentina and Stephany for details )  We will plan for the event in February  Being a part of the committee satisfies your competition requirement
