My name is Angela Lawrence. I am married and a mother of four beautiful children two girls and twin boys. In my previous work experience I was a lead teacher in a local childcare center, then I later became a case manager working for the mentally disabled. I am currently a production technician for the company that I work for. I just recently graduated from Ashford University with my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Early childhood education. This is my first class of my Master’s Degree. I look forward to working with each of you.
Growing up I attended public school and this is the same school that my parents attended. The thi9ng that lead me to wanting me to become a teacher is my third grade teacher. She was a big influence to me and a very caring teacher. She gave me the knack to want to be a positive influence to others once I became an adult. She is the reason I chose to become a teahcer.
I see myself as a kindergarten teacher and later moving up to become a principal of a primary school. Then in the near future I would love to own and operate my own child care facility.
Earning my master’s degree will help me in the future by my learning more information about the educational process. I believe it will provide me with the knowledge of knowing how to handle certain areas such as dealing with a more diverse classroom and the parents.
