Analysing Existing Products L.I: to be able to analyse existing products

When designing new products, designers often look at existing products as a source of information. Product analysis is not just about describing them, you should identify the good features of the product and ways it might be improved.

Product Analysis Aesthetics – colour, shape, texture Customer Safety – sharp edges? Parts that could be swallowed? Materials – what is it made from? How? Aesthetics – colour, shape, texture
