2 INDRA EXPLOITATION PLAN FOR INDIGO RESULTS Ideas of exploitation in 4 dimensions: 1.Improve Indra solution’s Portfolio: Including the solution inside of Indra’s portfolio of OpenSource solutions for Scientific communities and Industrial Partners. 2.Extending INDIGO-Datacloud PaaS: Extending the PaaS software provided to fulfil client requirements on specific software. 3.Improve Indra’s presence in the EC: 1.Improve the presence of Indra in the different EC Agencies. 2.Propose INDIGO-based solutions in public/private tendering around Europe. 4.Outsourcing services: Providing personnel being able to operate the INDIGO-DataCloud project, in order to offer industrial quality and SLAs around Europe. Most demanded industrial functionalities: 1.Cloud Brokerage service of personalized PaaS and SaaS stacks. 2.Cloud Brokerage service of Virtual Machines. 3.Development and Operations Brokerage system of container-based PaaS and SaaS software. 4.Extremely large JOBS distribution and brokerage in hybrid (cloud bursting) mode. 5.Cloud data access through standard POSIX interfaces to improve untouched cloudification of existing applications.. Gaps detected for a proper exploitation from the industrial perspective: 1.Industrial-level Billing and Invoicing system: INDIGO-DataCloud provides all the tools to build a complete multi-tenant system billing system, but its beyond the scope of the project. 1.Billing through external integration platforms, like Helix Nebula or other Marketpaces. INDIGO-DataCloud Open Source Cloud Platform *Nota al pie

Industrial Associations: Cloud 28+ initiative: HP Driven initiative to create an European ecosystem of Cloud providers, enabling ISV to create PaaS / SaaS solutions that will be available to the customers on the top of the CSP poviders. CERN: Select some uses cases in which CERN can be benefited from INDIGO-DataCloud adoption. European Space Agency: Propose the use of the INDIGO-DataCloud for very large Data Storage and Exploitation. European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control: Use INDIGO-DataCloud infrastructure to run large scale experiments and simulations (Zika, Chikungunya, etc.) Industrial Sector: Build PaaS Stacks for internal and external development.
