Mode Key Located at the top center Determines how what is entered is interpreted Determines how answers are displayed You must press to change a mode setting.

Negation Key Located in the lower right corner Makes a value or expression negative Can not be used for subtraction. An error message will appear.

Resetting your calculator Resetting your calculator changes everything back to the default (original) settings. If you are using a school calculator in class, you may need to reset the calculator to erase the settings of the previous user. If you’ve been using your own calculator for games or have changed the settings, you may need to reset your calculator.
