What was Pearl Harbor? Occurred on the morning of December 7, 1941 The Imperial Japanese Navy attacked Pearl Harbor with 353 Japanese fighter planes, bombers, and torpedo planes in two waves, launched from six aircraft carriers. Next day, the United States declared war on Japan
