Presentation transcript:

 What is Work Safe BC? WorkSafeBC is dedicated to promoting workplace health and safety for the workers and employers of this province. We consult with and educate employers and workers and monitor compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation. In the event of work-related injuries or diseases, WorkSafeBC works with the affected parties to provide return-to-work rehabilitation, compensation, health care benefits, and a range of other services.

 With young workers being the most at risk for workplace injuries, it’s important to make students aware of the risks, rights, and responsibilities that you undertake at a job  Not only do we want to make you aware, we want you to be able to integrate these factors into your way of thought so that your responses in the work place are automatic and safe
