 Step1 : Check Free Disk Space on drive where Software is Installed. Free space must be approx. twice of current database size.  Step2: Check for any pending amount.If found any dues then consult account department.  Step3: Update New sqlclient.exe and comsql.exe from comsql utilities option before start process of Closing.  Step4: Ask the client to send request for closing. For it, follow the following steps:  Login in comsql and go to Utilities>>Send Request For Financial Year Closing. Steps for Closing of comsql and fxsql

Enter Mobile no/ Ph. no Enter Contact person name Click on Submit. Following message will display. Click on OK.  Following window will open.Fill all details and send request Enter Address

 Step5: After sending request, a DCR will be created automatically(if all details are valid ). Now, FA Closing is allowed for that database.

 Step 6: Check Database  Follow the following steps:  Login into software and check Database.  Run Check Database before Backup From System Utilities under Utility Menu.

After database checking following message will display Click on Start to check the database Click on OK

Step7: Take backup Note: Before taking backup, make sure Sql Engine must be properly shutdown Double click on comback.bat Following window will open.

 Step8: Go To SQL850 Folder.  Create a New Folder With New Database Name.(eg. COM1415 )

 Step09 Rename COMSQL.DBS File To COM1415.DBS i e. Same As Folder Name Created In Previous Step (eg. COMSQL.DBS TO COM1415.DBS). Renamed File

 Step10: Edit Sql.ini File In Sql850 Folder. To edit it follow the following steps:  Find Block [dbnt1sv]]  Find dbname =comsql,sqlws32  dbname =com1415,sqlw32 (add this line in small alphabets)  Copy this sql.ini in Comsql folder also (i.e. Replace existing sql.ini in comsql folder)

 Note: Entry of new database must display in SQL engine as shown below e.g.(com1415).

 Step11: Run Financial Year Closing From Utilities>>System Utility option.  A Following window will open Enter Closing password (metro). And click on start.

This process will take time depending upon database size. Closing will be completed after successful message.

 Step12: Run sqlclient.exe to license New Year Database.  Choose Product type (Comsql), Enter New Year Database Name(COM1415) & Database ID and click on 'Get Activation‘. Select database Restore/Fin closing Select Product Type Enter database name Enter database Id given by license department Click on Get Activation. Following message will display

 Step13: Edit comback.bat  Go to Comback Folder  Open Comback.bat  Replace Comsql with Com1415 Replace All

Save as COMBACK.BAT as COM1415.bat Make shortcut of COM1415.bat on desktop

Close SQL engine. Step14: Before taking backup, make sure Sql Engine Properly Shutdown Click on close Following message must display after closing the SQL engine

Step15: Take BACKUP Backup of old database Double click on COM1415.BAT backup Note: Before Double click on COM1415.BAT Please make sure Sql Engine Properly Shutdown
