Philosophy of Education I believe that every child is a unique individual and deserves what ever best suits their needs to become successful not only in school but in life. In order for a child to be successful the teacher’s role is to provide a rich environment were students feel safe, comfortable and cared for. The teacher’s role is to execute ideas and activities based on their specific needs. Children need to interact with each other and socialize with peers. As a teacher I will always encourage critical thinking skills and research.

Classroom Management I will focus in my students needs and set and organize the correct environment for them to be successful. I will promote a productive learning environment, and encourage academic and social emotional success. Farrell & Garret (2015) describe effective classroom management as a classroom that positively influences student’s achievement and has the teacher smiling all year long. My main focus is to build a positive rapport with each child. At the same time I will promote social emotional growth by introducing and giving the child ways to express his/her emotions and learn how to cope with them in a mature way.

Classroom Management Three important expectations 1.Be safe 2.Be friendly 3. Be respectful The first weeks of school students are introduce to these set of expectations that are found around the classroom with large pictures for the children to be able to see understand and relate to them. It is also very important to establish a routine for these children. There is a schedule of the day that is always subjected to change for a fire drill, picture day etc. Every day children are exposed to the same type of routine. This helps the preschool child to know what is next and what is expected of them in school.

Effective Lesson Plan Tools for my classroom There are several important elements to create an effective lesson plan. Tools for my classroom I will bring to the school the most important elements which is to have a GOOD learning objective. I will use the state standard objectives to best address them. I will also use my : Clarity in my Objectives in order to be clear and understandable to the students. Completeness-in order to have a beginning and end to all goals And lastly Specify- the target to be used by my students needs. (Newman , 2013 ) I will use The California Preschool Learning Foundations. It will guide me when designing the lesson plans and its also divided by ages to plan appropriately based on the students needs. It supports all aspects of the child's overall learning areas: Social emotionally development Physical development ELL students Cognitive development Abbot et al. (2008, p.56) Effective Lesson Plan

Assessment My main focus in my classroom will be to look at the purpose of the assessment. I will find the purpose of everything in order to create the best learning environment for my preschoolers. I will also make sure to provide the three major components of assessment, which are the validity, reliability, and transparency of each of my assessments.

Professional Learning Communities I will work as a team member with other colleagues. I will share my knowledge and create opportunities to work and learn from each other. I will collaborate with others and design lessons using the Common Core Standards to make my students learning more successful in their education and life. I will connect with others through networking and other sources to learn more about institution, school, and agencies across the world and implemented in my job.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
