New unit: Ancient Hebrew and Judaism We are moving on!!

Objectives 11/21/13  Standard H-SS &  Content objective: I will describe the Hebrews by completing a bubble map and locate their settlements and movements after drawing a map.  Language objective: I will know and use monotheism and ethical when discussing with my peers.

Essential Question #1  What were the origins and early beliefs of the Hebrews?  Write this questions down under your objectives (in your notebook)

You need a total of 5 bubbles The topic is “The Hebrews” Draw a bubble map below your objectives.

The Hebrews  A group of people migrating throughout the region of Mesopotamia and Egypt.  Practiced monotheism, the belief in 1 god.  They followed ethical behavior (behavior based on the ideas of right and wrong)  Their religion was Judaism, religion of the Jewish people.  Known as the Hebrews, Israelites, and the Jewish people or Jews. (This is the information that goes inside your bubble map)
