Till Lindemann was born in Leipzig. He spent his childhood in the small village named Wendisch. Rambow next to Schwerin, where he live while her mother Brigitte became since, a brillant a journalist, his father (writer of children) and his sister (its 6 years old junior). The boy and the father got along badly.Since the death of his father in 1992, Till never retured on its tomb.

He swam very well and he entered a sporting school then in the team of swiming of Rostock Sport Club where he collected some trophies.Wonded, he had to give up swiming and was devoted then fully to the music since he was also beater in the punk group First Arsch. He have its diploma of pyrotechny which will authorize it later to handle the artifices and explosives at the time of the concert of Rammstein.
