ELITE COLTS UNDER 7’S NEWSLETTER – JULY 2014 Elite Colts Football Club was founded in 2009 by Mark Charlette during the pre-season. Currently we have at least 150 boys and girls all through the age groups from under 6’s to under 14’s. Mark Charlette’s principles of the game is for the players to enjoy, develop and compete. I, (Mike Kaylor) have recently taken over as Manager for the Under 7’s Red team and Ricky Constable will be running the Yellow team. We both have had a wealth of experience in the football world and are looking forward to working with your children to help them develop their football skills and knowledge. The teams are still undecided at the moment but we will let you know which team your child will be in by the end of the month. Games and Training Saturday training will be held at Abbs Cross School, Hornchurch at 10am till 11am. Thursday night training will be held at Emerson Park School at 6pm till 7pm. I will let you know the start date for Thursday night training shortly. We will be playing a game every 2 weeks and these will be played in the same format as the one we played at Harold Wood park a few weeks ago i.e. 4 teams, each play each other once. Our home pitch will be at Abbs Cross School. If this changes, I will let you know. The Saturday in between the games I will try and organise a friendly but if this is not possible we will be training as normal. This season’s fees: Signing on fee £70 (payment by cash ASAP) Training fee £20 per month. (First month by cash followed by standing order thereafter – bank account details to follow shortly) As soon as all signing on fees are paid, the kits will be ordered. The signing on fee will consist of the following: Your registration. 2 X full kits – yellow and red. Trophies at the end of the season. The training fee will consist of the following: A safe environment for your children to train and play. Equipment for the children to train and learn their skills. Water proof jackets/training tops. This is from 10am-11am at Abbs Cross School and the cost is £1 per player. Phil is also running a summer soccer school Wykenham School from 10am till 3pm on the following dates: Monday 11 th August – 15 th August Monday 18 th August – 22 nd August The cost is £10 per day or £45 for the week. Last month both the red and yellow teams got off to a winning start with the matches we organised and its good to see all the training is paying off. Well done boys! We have now sorted out all signing on fees and we would like to thank you for paying so promptly. This has allowed us to order the team kits and these will be distributed once the printing is done. Just a gentle reminder that the £20 training fees are now due and would be grateful if you can us have this at your earliest convenience. These fees go toward new equipment for the club. We are still waiting on our bank account to be opened and hopefully this will be sorted by the beginning of September.
