 To evaluate existing health and care information and guidance resources  To produce new resources, contextualised to Lincolnshire  To disseminate the resources to advice agencies and end users

 There are lively, colourful, interesting resources already out there e.g. thinkcarecareers  There is nothing specifically contextualised to Lincolnshire So …  we don’t need to re-invent the wheel we do need to signpost to existing information we do need to sell Lincolnshire

500 young people were asked who had the greatest influence on their career choice. These are the top three answers: 1. Parents 2. Peers 3. Teachers Thank you Mark Wilkinson!

In the same survey, the main sources of information for young people were … 1. Parents 2. Websites

Three audiences – three strands of resource … 1. Parents 2. Young people 3. Employers

* The compass, pointing east …  Selling health and care careers in different ways to different audiences … * Health and care careers as a journey … * A stepping stone to other things … * A destination in it’s own right … * Variety, progression, growth …

What do you think?
