The students will describe the purpose of the Second New Deal by summarizing Second New Deal programs that helped farmers. Announcement: Chapter 15 Test Wednesday March 17 Due: African-American project March 7 Drill: Analyze the photo on page 511 and answer the following: 1. How are the mother and children dressed? What does their appearance suggest? 2. What emotions does the woman’s expression convey?

When the AAA was declared unconstitutional, Congress passed: 1. Soil Conservation and Domestic Allotment Act paid farmers to cut production of crops that deplete the soil rewarded farmers who practiced soil conservation methods 2.
