PBIS KICK~OFF AUGUST 2012

 Say “Yes, Sir,” “No, Sir,” “Yes, Ma’am,” “No, Ma’am,” when speaking with adults at our school.  Be sure to say “Thank you” and “Please” to adults and peers.

 ALL classes will travel in an ORDERLY fashion. Lines will stop at corners and hallway doors as marked with our stop signs. Lines will NOT proceed until ALL students are ready to continue.  WE WILL PRACTICE THE FOLLOWING:  Shoulders out, eyes forward.  Hands to themselves and at their sides.  Walk quietly on the right side of the hallway.  Leave all posters/displays untouched.

All students are expected to: o Ask permission before going to the water fountain o Follow the 5 second rule o Swallow water before leaving the fountain o Not spit water back into the fountain or wet faces with the water

All students are expected to: o obtain permission before going to the restroom o use quiet voices o respect the privacy of others o clean up after themselves o wash hands o use restroom only when necessary

Sit at assigned table with both feet on the floor. Sit with their backs against the chair. Eat with food over table not in lap. Quiet tables will be called to the serving line first. Talk only with friends at their table. Countdown to quiet will be used at quiet time. Students should not move freely about the cafeteria. Students will wait to be called for trash and trays.

PBIS KICK~OFF AUGUST 2012

 You can become a VIB by following the PAWS Code.  Your teachers will vote for you to become a VIB and you will enter your VIB form into a drawing to sit at the special VIB table at lunch.  One VIB per class, per month will be selected to sit at the VIB table.  VIBs will sit at the special table once during the month and receive a special treat.

BOBCAT BUCKS: o all will be the same color (orange) and shape o Bobcat Bucks can be turned in to redeem incentives from our school store. o You will have the chance to shop at our school store once per month during lunch.

 Each term we will have a different incentive for students to participate in if they PURCHASE the event with BOBCAT BUCKS!  50 tickets per grade will be sold for each term incentive.  Students will have an opportunity to enjoy an event and/or snack and receive additional prizes during the celebration.
