INHS Physician Services Stage 1 Meaningful Use Training & Strategy Charter

Summary of Charter The object of the project is to provide analysis, training, support, consulting and workflow/process re-design to promote attestation for Stage One Meaningful Use (MU) sometime during the year of 2012.

Getting Started  Clinic / Administration backing  Determine number of Eligible Professionals  Sign Charter  Establish Clinic MU Team *MU Lead (Clinic Manager or?) * Champion Provider * Nurse or MA * Super User of EHR * Trainer/Educator

Time Commitments – 21 week plan  One Hour “Getting Started Meeting”  Monthly Status Meeting (15-30 minutes) X 3  Bi-Monthly Status Meeting X 4  Weekly Web based Training sessions (30 minutes)  Weekly Web based Workflow/Action sessions (30 minutes)  Clinic MU Core Team – training and working with staff

Coded vs Uncoded Acute Problems 30min DENOMINATOR: Number of unique patients seen by the EP during the EHR reporting period. NUMERATOR: Number of patients in the denominator who have at least one entry or an indication that no problems are known for the patient recorded as structured data in their problem list EXCLUSION: No exclusions
