8 th RCE Global Conference Africa was formally given the honor to host the 8 th Global RCE Conference during the seventh RCE Global Conference in South Korea Kenya privileged to undertake this responsibility on behalf of the African Continent. A local Organizing Committee comprising all Kenyan RCEs and other stakeholders constituted Discussions initiated with all African RCEs through the continental coordinator, Dick

8 th RCE Global Conference A team from SADC-REEP visited Nairobi to assist with initial preparations Conference Theme: “RCEs promoting unity through diversity and Collaborations” Conference Venue: UN Complex Nairobi November 2013 Conference Programme to be finalized in the next two weeks including speakers

8 th RCE Global Conference Site Visits agreed upon based on relevance to conference theme. Website open at UNU Portal Registration to open in the next one week List of hotels agreed upon, initial booking done Still working on consolidating budget
