ANSWERS Whatever is shown on the news is always truthful. PBS providers have a remit to be truthful and do their best to avoid bias, independent channels, such as Fox News do not. Whatever is shown on the news is always the most important thing that happened that day. No, the items shown on the news are generally only those deemed the most ‘news worthy’. Who can summarise the concept of ‘news worthiness’?

Today’s task We are going to watch a documentary called ‘Outfoxed: Rupert Murdoch’s War on Journalism” Quiz: Who is Rupert Murdoch?

Rupert Murdoch and Fox News Rupert Murdoch is an Australian Businessman with a net worth of £14 Billion. He works largely in America, but has interests in Australia and Britain (The Sun) He owns Fox news through a company called News Corp. Who did we watch from Fox news last lesson?

Answer: Bill O’reilly O’reilly is an outspoken news broadcaster and political commentator. He presents the O’reilly factor on Fox News.
