CAPTAINTORY ”He swung his lantern three times and slowly the schooner appeared.“CAPTAINTORY ”He swung his lantern three times and slowly the schooner appeared.“

He gripped him by his thin arm and took him to the docks, with only a lantern for a light. He said to the young lad, ‘Stand here and wait patiently.’ He started to swing the lantern, one, two, three... and then it emerged; a boat slowly sailed out of the mist. The young boy was lost for words, but the old man just grinned, as he had witnessed this wonderful spectacle Numerous times before. The young lad didn’t know whether to believe it or not. The moment was lit magnificently by star light and the small twinkling street lights. Niall Martin

MR. LINDEN'S LIBRARY ”He had warned her about the book. Now it was too late.” MR. LINDEN'S LIBRARY ”He had warned her about the book. Now it was too late.”

Mr Linden had told the girl how dangerous the book was but she thought he was just a very strange man. As she started to read though, she became engrossed in it. As she read more, it became more and more realistic. She then knew that the book was dangerous but she could not stop reading it. She became hypnotised by the words, she felt herself slipping into a dream-like state. Before she knew what was happening her spirit had been taken into the book, she was trapped. He had warned her about the book. Now it was too late… Lauren Smith
