Energy Storage
Why now? Heard a lot about storage lately? Here’s why storage options are emerging now
Prices are rising and are going to continue to rise.
Self Consumption With self-consumption, you store your excess Solar power to use later. Think of it like recording a TV Show on your DVR to watch when you want to
Time of use optimization Time of use optimization refers to drawing energy from the grid when energy prices are at their lowest, such as late at night, and storing that power for use when energy is more expensive, such as in the morning.
Off-grid If your goal is to be off-grid, you use storage to be energy self-sufficient, without relying on the grid.
Orison Energy Take Control of Your Energy Orison is a home battery that charges itself when utility rates are low so you can use it when rates are high. Unlike other home battery products, it was specifically designed to be lightweight, affordable, and extremely easy to install. You simply plug it into your existing wall outlet, and it works.

Enphase Energy Storage and the Enphase Home Energy Solution Batteries get the buzz, but there’s a whole lot more to energy storage. The Enphase AC Battery shines brightest alongside the rest of the Enphase Home Energy Solution. A seamless integration of solar and storage, it combines microinverters, battery, and connected technology to empower you on a whole new level.

Beautifully Functional Current generation home batteries are bulky, expensive to install and expensive to maintain. In contrast, Powerwall's lithium ion battery inherits Tesla's proven automotive battery technology to power your home safely and economically. Completely automated, it installs easily and requires no maintenance. TESLA
Solar panels Panels convert sunlight into electricity that charges Powerwall and powers your home during the day. Without solar, Powerwall can reduce time of use power bills by strategically shifting energy consumption. Powerwall The home battery is charged with electricity generated by solar panels or from the utility grid. Inverter The inverter converts direct current electricity from solar panels, the grid and Powerwall into the alternating current used by your home's lights, appliances and devices. All Powerwall installations require a compatible inverter. To maximize solar consumption, a meter is also installed to measure solar production and home energy use. Electrical Panel Electricity from the inverter is sent to your home's electrical panel. For applications without solar, and night time, electricity generated by the power company is sent from the electrical panel to the inverter to charge the Powerwall. Backup panel and switch Some backup installations may require a secondary electrical panel containing the critical appliances and outlets you wish to back up. An electrical switch automatically activates the backup panel during a power company outage. When installed with solar, this switch can keep your solar producing during an outage. Backup is an optional feature when installing to maximize solar or shift energy consumption.
