Mulberry Trees and Silk Worms BY: ANIYAH JONES

The Europeans had to get permission from Tomochichi the Yamacraw tribe leader to settle on Yamacraw Bluff located in Savannah, Ga.

Once the settled they had to clear all of the land.

Once they cleared the land they started to create farms with mulberry trees and grape vineyards.

Globalization  Producing silk was done through out the world during this time period.  Today many places like Asia, the United States, and India are examples of where silk is produced.  Silk is used in many products like clothing, furniture, and interior home décor. (i.e. curtains)  Grapes are almost in every country today  They are enjoyed as snacks, prepared in meals, and used to make wine throughout the world.
