Does our school waste energy?

 Aims of today's session  To investigate Thorns School to see if it wastes energy

Your task  You will be split into 6 groups  Each group will have to investigate a certain phase around school  You will be given questions to answer  You will be given 20 min and will have to record on a map your area, the problems in it and what can be done to help out

Task in the classroom – brainstorm ideas  Working in your group choose two main ways that energy is wasted in that phase  Suggest steps to prevent energy being wasted in these two ways  You will need to organise your group as you have the rest of today plus next session to complete this task. Record this information on the sugar paper.
