The offer for RP’s Apprenticeships – NVQ 2/3 – Minimum 1 year – Maximum 3 years – At existing colleges – Within workplace if required – Use existing or new training providers Upskilling – Mentoring qualifications to support apprentices – IAG/ Employability – Money / financial advice – Work Club delivery – PDR Demand items – Potential for shared cohorts at Eccles – Within workplace if required

Proposed Timetable January – March 2013 – Early wins with apprentice starts and upskilling training to staff – Full sign up to Foundations in Housing by as many AGMA based Registered Providers as possible. April – August 2013 – Engagement with existing colleges to understand their offer – Further apprentice starts and upskilling training to staff as currently planned by Registered Providers – Design of Prospectus based on needs identified by Registered Providers September 2013 onwards – New Prospectus launched and further apprentice starts and upskilling training to staff

Project Additionallity Potential to create a Training dividend – Living wage premium for apprentices – Resident Pre-employability training – Graduate/Intern Bursary fund – Other RP requirements Foundations in Housing becomes a conduit for other AGMA wide funding for Employment and Skills Agenda

Long Term Proposals Schools outreach work Wider Community Business Portal Solution to apprentices supply mismatch Potential Shared Services Model and funding direct from UKCES in the future Roll out to other City Regions through NHF/ UKCES funding

We will work with each other and local businesses to build on and co-ordinate our current work in developing the skills of our employees and customers. We will create and support apprenticeships across Greater Manchester and maximise employment opportunities for all’.
