Occasionally you will have permission to use your cell phone as a resource.

Musical Legends – First, who can be considered a musical legend? – A musical legend is an artist of influence and trajectory who has persisted in time. They are frequently cited by current artists as influences on their music. – You and a partner will choose a legend from the list. – Or, you can propose a legend to Miss Kim and get permission to research someone who is not on the list.

What to do… – Choose your legend and sign up with Miss Kim. – Research the legend in the following areas: – Include brief biographical information, musical style, musical importance and / or innovations, most famous work – Musical instruments used in the music – If your legend is a singer, which instruments were typically used in the accompanying music? – Be detailed and descriptive – Both partners give their personal opinion – You will create a power point presentation with relevant images and only titles – You must include a short sample of the music in the presentation
