Wind Power? Yes, please!!! HBF AuMe 08 Music: Hakk Dereköylü Anadolu Güzel Sanatlar Lisesi, Denizli, Turkey

Alternative Energy is clean and there is plenty of it  Let´s build a wind generator and reduce emissions from coal, oil and nuclear power.  In this way we can protect our environment.

The alternator of a car can be modified as wind generator Bosch 14V 55A

 But where can we get an alternator???  Daddy´s Mercedes???

Better not!!!!.

Better go to a junk yard! There are hundreds and do not cost you anything

In a car, the alternator rotates at high revolutions A wind generator has to be effective at low revolutions

We have to recoil it. For this we need 3 new coils with more windings Alternators produce 3-phase alternating current

 Mr. Marx, the owner of a local transformer company, gave us the wire we needed for free.

Everything could be so easy. Take the alternator to parts Clean the housing parts Remove the windings

If there had not been some problems.  Corroded parts could not be solved without heating them.  Fastening screws and bolt were torn off and had to be drilled out.

We needed machine tools like drilling machine, lathe and vice.

We had to build a coiling device

First we coiled the new windings on the device and put them into the stator ring. We needed 30 windings.
