Enterprise stories investigate an issue and expand on it, often exposing details that were previously unknown. Reflection and Summary Reflection: What kind of stories would you consider enterprise news? Why would this still be appropriate for a news paper or magazine? Summary: Find an enterprise story through social media (phone) or online. Why would you consider this story enterprise news and not breaking news? Example The Chicago Tribune won the Pulitzer Prize for exposing faulty government regulations of toy and carseats. Their story ended up changing government policy.

What do they add to a paper, broadcast show or news magazine? Summary: Read a profile story. What kind of story was it? What was the appeal to you (audience).
