9/25/2016 Oppression: The feeling of being heavily burdened, mentally and physically, by troubles, adverse conditions, and anxiety. Institutionalized oppression occurs when laws customs and practices systematically reflect and produce inequities based on one’s membership.

9/25/2016 What is fundamentalism? Fundamentalism is the demand of strict adherence to specific theological doctrines usually as a reaction to modernism. While many countries have given women varying degrees of rights and regards to marriage, divorce, civil rights, legal status, dress code and education - other countries still practice Islamic fundamentalism.
