SCHOOL JOURNAL
School Journal is the mode of communication between the child,teacher and parent. We request you to go through the contents of the journal to familiarise yourself with the systems of Sopaan. Any message that needs to be conveyed to you will be sent in the journal. Please use the leave of absence page and the half day Leave page when required.
Circulars and Homework are uploaded on the website everyday so even if your child is absent he or she can still be up-to-date with the home assignments. Circulars
School Policy on Continuous Assessment For the students of Classes VI – VIII, it is mandatory to attend all the continuous assessments conducted unless prior permission has been sought. The students will then appear for a retest on a day designated by the retest incharge. Students can appear for retest only once in a session. Filing of CAS Papers to be done once the students receive the corrected test paper.
Exam Schedule Half Yearly Exam – Last week of August to 1st week of September. Year End Exam – 3rd week of January to February. Examination 80 marks + Internals 20 marks( CAS + Project)

SCIENCE The paper consist of two sections 1 and 2. Section 1(40 marks) is compulsory and has Objective questions. Section 2 (40 marks) has a choice. The students have to attempt four questions. Each question will be of 10 marks and will have sub parts.

Reports Parents will receive three reports in the whole academic year which will be supported by the comments from subject & class teachers. Formal Parent-Teacher meetings will also be conducted for each class where parents have the opportunity to discuss their child’s progress with the teachers. Promotion to the next higher class will depend on the annual aggregate performance.
