God’s Appointed Shepherds Throughout History God used specially appointed people to shepherd His people throughout history. –Joshua (Numbers 27:16,17) –David as King (I Chronicles 11:2) –Judges (I Chronicles 17:6) –Prophets and Priests (Ezekiel 34) –Elders (Acts 20:28; I Peter 5:1,2) We must keep in mind, however, that even though certain men were appointed by God to be shepherds, the Lord has always been and always will be the CHIEF Shepherd!

Have you allowed the Lord to bind your broken life and strengthen you in your sickness? Have you allowed the Lord to deliver you from harm? On the Day of Judgment, will you be one of His sheep? (Matthew 25:31-34)
