What makes our school unique !

Play agents At Hey with Zion we have play agents they look around the playground for people who need to play with someone. They also solve arguments. ‘With a play agent you will never be alone’

Head teacher This is our head teacher Mr Clowes. He is very kind and makes us laugh in assembly. Mr Clowes is the best because he arranges school trips and the school trips are always fun! Some of our trips have included a residential to Robin-wood, a trip to the science Centre, the museum and the air raid shelters. The best head teacher ever !! He is always thinking how to make our school a happy place.

House captains In our school we have houses, Walliams, Morpurgo, Rowling, Dahl, Donaldson. 10 Year six students have been chosen to be house captains. They take care of people in their house and if they have a problem they will solve it. ‘ Help is on the way.’

Healthy Eating At our school we eat healthily because it is better for our bodies and it keeps us fit. In the dinner hall we are not allowed chocolate but that isn't because our teachers are mean its because we want to stay healthy. Just like Mr Clowes.

New classroom New classroom In our school we fundraised money so we could have a new year 6 classroom, we all love the new space! It’s the biggest classroom in the school. The 40 year six’s are very happy with there new classroom. ‘Woah I love this new classroom’ McKenzie

Play Equipment We have lots of new equipment and facilities at Hey With Zion. Most people love the trim trail, its always so busy but we share by having our own days to play on it. We also have hula hoops, skipping ropes, bats and balls etc. Trim Trail

Student Council Our student council has a meeting once ever month. We come up with ideas to make our school better. We make posters for our class and when we go back we discuss issues raised with our class members and get their feedback.. ‘The student council make our school a better place. ‘

Our school blog This is our brand new Blog At our school we have a blog teachers post things about school on there.

Fun days (recent Spanish day) In our school we have fun days. On Monday 12 th October 2015 we had Spanish Day. On Spanish day you could wear red and yellow or something they would wear in Spain. It was very fun and we enjoyed taking part in Spanish activates all day.

Charity work We like to raise money for charity and love doing this by taking part in some silly activities. Here are our teachers dressing up as ‘Gangsta grannies’, we have also dressed them in purple for world epilepsy awareness day – they looked really weird. We bring in money to take part in these activities so we know we are helping those who need it.

Staff The staff at Hey With Zion are very kind and helpful. When we need them we can ask them anything. We can say anything to them even if its bad. ‘Look Listen Learn ’

Friends At Hey With Zion we have lots of friends. If you have noticed I have a friend by my side. At Hey With Zion you are never lonely in the playground and if you need help someone is always at hand.
