Spain

People in Spain don’t like speaking English. They prefer Spanish. However, children and teenagers know many English words and use them every day. English is widely-spread on the territories of famous sights, parks, palaces as there are many foreign visitors. People in the street don’s speak English, but they can understand English speech and help you in any situation. Spain is a tourist country. People who work in the tourist and hotel industries speak good English.

Smile a lot! Be friendly ! Make friends!

Turkey

Very many Turkish people speak English, especially in the tourist areas. Most of them can speak fluent English. Turkish think that they can’t make a career without English and therefore they respect people who speak it. In common tourist guides speak three languages: Turkish, English, Russian. In hotels you can notice that most people know English at least just enough to communicate.

Only camels don’t speak English! Take excursions with English- speaking guides. Be communicative and use English as often as you can!

Egypt

The English language is widely spoken in Egypt. Most Egyptians like foreigners and they like to talk to them in English. You can read useful information written in English everywhere. It isn’t a problem to communicate with Egyptians because most of them speak English, especially in the resort areas.

Speak English as often as you can! Read signs written in English carefully not to get lost!

Croatia

So many people speak English in Croatia, so never fear you can’t understand locals. More and more Croatians are highly motivated to learn English for Tourism ‏‎ and Business. Croatians are warm and friendly people. If you need any help, be sure that you will get it! Many British tourists visit this beautiful country to see the famous sights.

The United Arab Emirates

The Arabs are very friendly and communicative. You can see people of different nationalities, hear so many languages at the shopping centres. If you want to be respected, you should speak English fluently! Staff at hotels, popular tourist sites and information areas speak English well.

Make friends and speak English with them! Try to improve your English at the shopping areas!

If you don’t understand hieroglyphs, you can read signs in English. It can be difficult to understand the Chinese speaking English. If you speak English with the Chinese, speak slowly and don’t use long words and sentences.
