Your pupil council will organise exciting events for you to be involved in. Your pupil council will help to organise fund raising, charities and new ideas for the school to do to help the children.

How do become a representative? Every year in June the pupil council representative will organise the voting in the class for the new representative to start in August. In August we will have our first meeting and all representatives will get a badge and folder.

What are we working on now? We will be walking more to keep fit. This is walk to school week. We will work on getting childrens’ ideas for an activity trail for our playground. We will work on fundraising ideas for Kilts for Kids day in November and everyone brings in 50pence and gets to wear tartan for the day. We are organising a fairtrade tuckshop for February for our Health week.

What do you do now? If you have any ideas you tell your rep You listen and watch to what is going on in our area and tell us what we need to do to help eg playground games, more for children to do. You help us make our school the best we can. You work hard and help each other.
