Conference Overview: INSPIRE 24th African American Youth Leadership Conference We started as a small group of students at the Community Center Now hosting from Colorado College We’re Not Done…not by a long shot! Our ever changing social and political environment continues to confuse/reshape our youth’s moral compass This conference provides a vital tool in our community’s quiver to deflect these forces and refocus our youth on becoming leaders in our community, excel in school, and inspiration to achieve greatness This year let’s focus our efforts to Inspire our Youth: Inspire to Achieve, Inspire to Lead, and Inspire to have a vision.

Inspire to Achieve, Inspire to Lead, Inspire a Vision Jam pact conference with new and exciting classes covering mired of social, professional and academic subjects We want to show all of our attendees to look beyond yesterday and experience something new or different Nothing but hands-on activities…every class Attract new customers and sponsors Solidify internal conference process and procedures Expand our offerings post every quarter (Mar, Jun, Sept, Dec) We have a strong, dedicated group of leaders on this planning team that will make this conference a great success

Conference Expectations Increase our key sponsor’s participation in the conference Increase fundraising each year by 20% Provide take home material for students student's Use of our conference website Provide non-profit training for committee chairs Purchase appropriate equipment to improve committee efficiency Increase the use of local media coverage of the conference Obtain participation from all Colorado Springs school districts Fall in Love with our Volunteers
