Founded 25 years ago by 2 journalists of wine Michel Bettane and Bernard Burtschy, Grains Nobles the tasting school is located in the heart of Paris, in the Latin Quarter between the university of La Sorbonne and cathedral Notre- Dame. She receveid the most famous winery of the world such the domain of Romanée Conti or Château Yquem and so on.
« Civilisation of Wine » is dedicated to all those who want to be initiated to the world of wine from vine to table.
This training has two objectives: To provide the necessary foundation to acquire a good general knowledge of the world of wine Learn how to taste wine, allow to judge the quality of a wine as well as describing it
This training is for all those who are curious about wine and want to have a closer look behind the label. The classes are taught in English.

To be eligible for the final exam, the student is required to have completed all courses for which he is registered. The exam consist of three parts: Q&A Open Questions Blind tasting & description of the wines The Diploma is obtained if the student obtains a minimum score <70%: fail 70 – 79%: pass 80 – 89%: pass with merit 90 – 100%: distinction
