IHE CAsC Committee CA 2016 Cycle timeline Report to CASC Committee Charles Parisot

IHE CAsC Committee Timeline and Dependencies Revised Schedule CA 2016 Test VM Release Plan and supporting Test Laboratory Accreditation

IHE CAsC Committee CA-2016 Cycle Development started in November Teams involved: – IHE-Europe/Services : Anne-Gaelle Bergé – RSNA Image Share: Mallinkrodt: Steve Moore – IHE-USA: Monroe Patillo – NIST: Bill Majurski (XD*) – NIST: John Garguillo (PCD)

IHE CAsC Committee Revised Schedule Management t-con with Yasunari, John Donnelly and Anne-Gaelle on April 7th. Updates on: – Delay of four weeks due to late Delivery of XCA test Tools. – Timely Delivery of DEC/PIV test tools, assertions and test plans by NIST and IHE USA (Monroe). – Timely Delivery of PAM, PIX and LAM (Kereval) – The RSNA Image contribution of XDS-I and XCA-I is very late and will not occur before May and July. – Impact of US and EU Connecathon  We cannot further delay the Limited Production Release. These two profiles (XDS-I and XCA-I) will not be included in the initial release. All other test Tools, assertions, test plans are available for CA Unfortunately, the new release of XDStool2 cannot run in conjunction with the current XDStool2 version used for XDS in CA Bill and Abderazek will discuss solution during Connectathon in Bochum. April 20 th release is still pending due to that issue.

IHE CAsC Committee CA-2016 Cycle Revised Schedule CA-2016 Testing Virtual Machine Progress: – To be issued for limited-production testing April 20th to three test labs: ICSA, KEREVAL, Mallinkrodt – Limited-production testing with vendors (April 20 th – May 20 th ). Feedback to IHE-Services by end of May. Fix issues. – Issue production Testing VM issued early June 2016.

IHE CAsC Committee Supporting Test Laboratory Accreditation ICSA Labs and Kereval Lab Authorization granted temporarily by CAsC until June Limited Production Testing requires a scope extension for Kereval (IHE Scheme Accreditation Audit due early July). Need a draft of CAS Limited Production Testing by ICSA Labs may proceed until end of June 2016 (under the uSA MU Scheme). ICSA Lab IHE Scheme Accreditation needs to be requested with IHE-CAS-1 and IHE-CAS (draft) with approved CAS available May 20 th.

IHE CAsC Committee Limited Production Testing Limited Production testing is NOT pilot or pre-production testing (Test Report could not be issued). It is a production testing limited to a small number of vendors (typically one per Actor/Pair) Testing is performed by Authorized Laboratory with limited production release of test VM: – If no blocking issues found in the Test VM, test report may be delivered. – If blocking issue with Test VM prevent complete execution of test plan, vendor will be asked to perform additional testing using the Production Virtual machine in June (they will have priority to still be first to receive test report for the profile/actor). Limited production Testing of CA-2016 requires a CAS draft. If changes in approved version impact testing, vendor will be asked to perform additional testing using the Production Virtual machine in June (they will have priority to still be first to receive test report for the profile/actor).

IHE CAsC Committee CAS-2 review and approval schedule Draft of CAS available April 28th. Comments due May 7th Revised version May 11th Comments consolidation May 12th (CAsC Committee T-con Final version May 20th.

IHE CAsC Committee Participants to Limited Production Testing XCA, XCPD and PIX Profile/Actors covered by Kereval Test Lab PAM (2 out of four actors) covered by Kereval Test Lab Current gaps are: – LAW (vendors do not have commercially available products yet) – DEC/PIV (ICSA Lab Ramp-up). ICSA Lab provided remote access to integration Test VM for training April 8th (pending shipment of Limited Production Test VM.  IHE USA and IHE-Europe need to continue vendor’s recrutement
