There are many online resources for career exploration including Kuder. These programs can help students sort out the career opportunities that await them in the future. This Power Point is to act as a source of discussion as you plan for your visit to the SAWDC Worlds of Opportunity. Please feel free to edit it and share it with your colleagues. As you proceed through the powerpoint, please lead your students into a discussion about their future and what they hope to experience at the 2016 WoO event.

Why now? The 8 th grade is the time to start planning for high school and beyond! There are a lot of great jobs right here in Mobile; this program serves as a bridge to enlighten you on what your own area has to offer. It’s never too late to start thinking about your future. The criteria for these jobs can become very specific. The earlier you decide exactly what it is you want to do the more prepared you can become.
