Presentation transcript:

 The Light  is electromagnetic Radiation. Electromagnetic a wave of interdependent electric and magnetic fields. Light is emitted or absorbed by the a toms of the system.  Law of reflection :-  1-Angle of incidence equals the Angle of reflection.  2-The incident ray, reflected ray,and Normal lie in the same plane(plane of incidence ).

 1 - incidence ray  2-Incidence angle  3-Normal  4-Reflection ray  5-Reflection angle 1

 1- virtual image  2- Erect  3-The same size as the object  4- behind the reflecting surface

The component of Spherical :- (f) البعد البؤري للمرأة -focal lengt (F) البؤرة focus point (C) مركز التكور curvature center of radius of curvature (r) المحور الرئيسي للمرآة -principal axis

f = focal length (m) So = distance from mirror to object (m) Si= distance from mirror to image (m) 1 - f = s o s i /s i+ s o 2- S o = s i f/s i -f 3- S i =s o f/ s o -f 4- R=2f  1/f =1/S o +1/S i

hi = height of the image (m) ho = height of object (m) m = magnification M=Si/SoM=Si/So  M= -h i /h o

f=R/2=30/2=15cm S i =s o f/ s o -f =20(15)/20-15=60cm M=s i /s o =-h i /h o 60/20=-h i /1.5 hi =-4.5cm

 Example 2 f=R/2= -40/2= -20 cm S i =S o f/S o -f =10(-20) /10-(-20) = -6.7cm M= S i/ S o= -6.7/10= -0.67

 Solution :-  F=R/2=-20/2=-10 cm  S i =S o f/S o -f = 30(-10)/30-(-10)= -7.5 cm
