The AFN will continue to have SHA oversight until the NHS Commissioning Board (NHSCB) is in place NHSCB may have responsibility for commissioning certain services for members of the armed forces and their families. Work will also continue to ensure GP champions are identified at Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) level to be engaged with the AFN and maintain the focus on military health both within this transition period and beyond.
