Try your own Leads!

Open with a Thoughtshot You’ve been grounded for something you believe you did not do. You are upset at your parents.

Start with a strong visual image You’re going fishing with mom or dad. It’s early in the morning on an August day. It’s already hot and the sun is rising.

Start with Dialogue You’re about to find out you have to move. You‘re at the dinner table and a parent starts to tell the news.

Use a repetition of verbs It’s a Tuesday night. There is school the next day, but outside it’s been snowing hard for three hours. You can’t sleep. You walk outside at midnight and there’s no one on the street. There are streets lights illuminating the white snow.

A main character doing something You come home from school on a typical day. You’re tired and you have hours of homework ahead of you. You enter the house, head up to your room, open the door and to your shock, you find a new golden retriever puppy waiting for you on your bed.
