LATE / INCOMPLETE WORK My expectation is that ALL assignments be completed to a level of proficiency (70% or higher) and turned in on time. Assignments turned in 1 (ONE) day late will be assessed a 30% penalty. Assignments that are more than one day late WILL NOT be accepted. Parents will be contacted if late or incomplete assignments become a habit. Printer and Internet issues are not an excuse for late work. ABSENTEE POLICY YES, WE DID SOMETHING IMPORTANT WHILE YOU WERE ABSENT. It is the student’s responsibility to check for any assignments missed. A student has one extra day to turn in any work assigned on a day a student was absent. If a test was administered on a day a student was absent, the test must be made up on the first day the student returns. If previously assigned work was due on the day of the absence, the work is due on the first day the student returns. If you know you will be absent ahead of time, please let the teacher know. If the student is caught cheating off of another peer, both students will receive a zero Physics HOMEWORK There will be weekly homework assignments. Homework will be assigned on Mondays and due on Fridays. The first few weeks of school, homework will be paper copies. As soon as iPads are issued, all homework will be completed online through the Quest System.
