It is one element in selecting and assessing student reading abilities.) Homework about 45 minutes per night Usually math and reading Chapter books should be brought back and forth to school until the book is completed. Sometimes students will be working on long term projects Spanish is given almost every class (T,W) Homework is explained in detail at the end of the day Reading logs should be completed daily Please sign homework agenda book after homework is completed every night Should not be a stressful time… me if there’s a problem Student’s responsibility to complete it and bring it to school

Field Trips(tentative) We are in the process of planning a number of trips this year. Greatly enhances the curriculum We also have some great programs coming into our classes: Dig It, Goo, Globs and Guts, and Edison’s Workshop

Miscellaneous Class work is gathered daily in an absent folder for absent students. Please call the office if you’d like it sent home. I cannot guarantee that I will see an during the day. Book orders will be sent home monthly..check only. Make payable to Scholastic Books or order online Technology: use of laptops and SMART board to enhance curriculum by researching, playing games and creating/solving web quests.

Last But Not Least.. Dismissal: If you haven’t completed the proper forms from the Parent Portal, please do so and submit to school Headphones: Please send a set of headphones in to school for your child. We will be using them along with the new Wordly Wise Vocabulary Program
