How can we support you? We need your feedback!

School Wide School Improvement Plan How do we decide where to focus??

Data … Our strengths: – Our ELA, Math, and Science Student Growth Percentiles (SGP) ranked 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd in the district, respectively – 5 th grade level 1’s on the Milestones decreased from – Economically Disadvantaged Students and Black students met the CCRPI Performance Target in all subjects

Data, Continued … Our weaknesses: – Our 4 th and 5 th grade students scoring below their Lexile band on the Milestones increased from – 3 rd Grade science and social studies level 1 Milestones scores increased – 4 th grade level 1 Milestones scores increased in all subject areas – Our SWD and Hispanic subgroups did not meet CCRPI Targets in any area

How are we addressing this? SMART GOAL #1: The weighted student performance will meet or exceed the English Language Arts and Mathematics CCRPI Subgroup Performance Targets. SMART GOAL #2: All grade levels will show growth within or exceeding their Lexile expectations (1st grade ; 2nd grade ; 3rd grade ; 4th grade ; 5th grade ) as measured by the Universal Reading Inventory and the 2017 Georgia Milestones. (*K – Increase percent of students mastering Foundational Reading Assessment) SMART GOAL #3: ELA Milestones scores will increase from 31.8% proficient or distinguished in 2016 to 45% in 2017; Math Milestones scores will increase from 39.3% proficient or distinguished in 2016 to 45% in Draft SW SIP
