Possessive Nouns Grammar

A possessive noun is a noun that shows who or what owns or has something. Form a singular possessive noun by adding an apostrophe (‘) and –s to a singular noun.

Write down the possessive noun of nouns in each sentence. Then write what the possessive noun owns or has. 1. The fairy tale was about an old king’s daughter. 2. The girl’s other was very protective of her. 3. The daughter’s name was Aurora. 4. Aurora’s life was very different from yours or mine. 5. Her father’s riche could not protect her. 6. Her mother’s love could not save her. 7. Only Aurora’s fairy godmother could help her. 8. The old women’s skill was casing a spell was well known. 9. The king’s knowledge of it saved Aurora from an eternity of sleep. 10. The fairy tale’s ending is well known.
