Problem The problem that people aged face when they first start out flatting or renting a home is budgeting effectively. This then becomes a problem for the future as they will need financial support later in life as there is the possibility they would have run out of money at a young age. We believe that the most common problems are: People not being able to effectively budget their money while flatting/renting. People don't have the knowledge of what their money should be spent on as to spending their money on other items.

Solution ‘RentME’ is an app that can help you budget your life effectively and can help save yourself money. Our app: - Suggests the amount of money you should budget, based on your income amount and sources.

Features and benefits - The RentMe app syncs with your bank account so you can: Track your earnings and savings per month. See your progress while saving for a particular item. It displays graphs indicating the average for each expense monthly. Other features of our app include: Suggests how much you should budget for each. Directs you to financial assistance if required. Suggests how you could lower the average of your expenses.

How our app links into flatting/renting Our app can help young people when they first start out flatting/renting because: Teach them how to budget effectively Suggest and show them different ways of budgeting Sends reminders before bills are due Sends a warning when your funds are getting too low to pay your bills.

Example A group of five friends have just moved into their new flat. Two of them are struggling with budgeting their money. So the instead of paying their share of the power they buy a new laptop and the other buys a new ipad. With the help of our app, we can: Provide and teach effective ways of budgeting Help organize and structure their financial situation

Target market Our target market are people who are: Aged between the ages of Living in a flat or a rental home Having difficulty with budgeting effectively Unfamiliar with budgeting

Marketing With the help of our app, users will be able to save money and manage their savings over a period of time. RentMe will suggest other ways of saving, including: Petrol Food Clothing Entertainment

Conclusion Our app can change the way that people spend and save money. It will be able to reduce the amount of unnecessary purchases and it would teach young adults the skills in addition- effective ways needed for saving and budgeting.
